CV Martin J. Pickert LL.M.

Martin J. Pickert LL.M. has been admitted to the bar as lawyer in 1983.

Martin J. Pickert holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from University of Georgia, Atlanta, awarded in 1986.

He specializes in property and real estate transactions, M&A transactions and the consultancy of wealthy private persons and entrepreneurs.

From 1986 to 1997, he worked for a major Munich-based bank, most recently in executive position in the field of participations and Board of Management Services. This included the development of the bank’s private equity business and various mandates in supervisory boards and advisory boards, both in Germany and abroad.

From 1997 to 1998, Martin J. Pickert was Deputy CEO and Head of Finance of a large brand product business in the food industry; he shared the responsibility for its restructuring up to the subsequent sale.

From 1999 to 2006, he worked as a lawyer and partner in a renowned medium-sized law firm in Munich.

He founded the law firm MJP Rechtsanwälte in Munich in 2007. It specializes in asset management, real estate law, corporate law/M&A/private equity.

In 2008, he and Thomas Fleischmann founded Immobilis GmbH, a family office for real estate assets. He has since been serving as managing director of Immobilis GmbH.
